Fact sheet on the SDGs: Access to essential medicines, vaccines and health technologies (2017)

Vaccines are universally considered to be one of the most successful and cost-effective medical interventions ever introduced. They are a critical tool to reduce health inequality and ensure the greatest possible protection of health and well-being. SDG 3.B urges sustained effort to ensure that everyone has access to the affordable, high-quality medicines and technologies they need.
