Совместная программа Европейского союза, Детского фонда ООН (ЮНИСЕФ) и ВОЗ
The European Union, UNICEF and WHO officially launched a health and education programme for the North Caucasus in 2007. The WHO component of this partnership focuses on strengthening health systems in the republics of Chechnya and Ingushetia through training 3000 health staff, establishing learning and information centres and providing essential medical equipment, supplies and ambulances.
WHO planned to implement health sector activities to the value of US$ 3.2 million over three years. The project is explained in more detail in the United Nations inter-agency transitional workplan for the North Caucasus.
