As of February 2020, the network contains a total of 183 members institutions, 2 international member institutions, and 3 individual members from 38 countries as well as 8 observers.

Membership is open to organizations and institutions active at the sub-national, national or international level willing to contribute to the goals and objectives of the network. The network holds annual meetings, which are also open to non-members.
