Voluntary health insurance in Armenia: issues and options (2007)

As Armenia considers how to move towards financing mechanisms that will protect its population from the financially catastrophic effects of illness, improve access to care and create incentives for efficiency and quality in service delivery, it has to consider how to organize the pooling of funds from the revenue potentially available from public and private sources.
