The Health Systems Governance Programme supports Member States to strengthen their capacity to steer their health systems. This system’s function enables to define, lead and implement policies in health service delivery, health financing and resource generation, while responding to health priorities and reflecting own goals and values. In fact, strengthening governance at the policy, planning, purchasing and provision levels boosts rapid changes in the service delivery culture.
