Report of the 6th WHO Regional Office for Europe and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control Joint European Influenza Surveillance Meeting (2018)

From 6–8 June 2018, the 6th WHO Regional Office for Europe and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) Joint European Influenza Surveillance Meeting was held at the WHO Regional Office for Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The meeting offered a unique opportunity for national focal points for epidemiological and virological surveillance from the Member States of the WHO European Region to network with international institutions, partners and networks.

In addition, the 2018 influenza meeting commemorated the centenary of the 1918 influenza pandemic, the most severe pandemic ever recorded.
