5th Pharmaceutical Health Information System (PHIS) Network and Advisory Board Meeting, Sofia, 28-29 April 2011

The 5th Pharmaceutical Health Information System (PHIS) Network Meeting and Advisory Board Meeting will take place in Sofia, 28 – 29 April 2011, at the Venus Conference Center, 9 Dondukov Boulevard.

The 5th PHIS Network Meeting will bring together the authorities for medicines pricing and reimbursement in the EU countries. The network is an EU DG Sanco-funded project, coordinated by WHO Collaborating Centre Gesundheit Österreich with WHO/Europe and WHO headquarters as partners, and Advisory Board members. Dr Kees de Joncheere, Regional Adviser for Pharmaceuticals, WHO/Europe, Dr Nina Sautenkova, Manager Pharmaceutical Policy NIS, WHO/Europe and Dr Richard Laing, Medicines Information and Evidence for Policy, WHO heaquarters, will participate. 

The network will specifically include a panel discussion on hospital pharma and interface management with PHIS participants from the hospital and out-patient sector which will identify burning issues and good practice models from a hospital’s and interface perspective.
