Review of the national TB programme in Bulgaria

From 2 to 9 June 2014, an external review of Bulgaria’s national TB programme was jointly conducted by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and WHO. The review was conducted by 9 international experts divided into 3 teams, who visited 10 provinces. On the last day, the review team provided feedback to the Ministry of Health and national colleagues on its main findings and recommendations. The final report of the review is expected to be finalized and published on both the ECDC and WHO websites before the end of the year.
