The priorities for the Country Office are set out in the biennial collaborative agreement between WHO/Europe and the host country. The Office implements the agreement in close collaboration with national institutions and international partner agencies.
The Twelfth General Programme of Work provides a high-level strategic vision for the work of WHO for the period 2014–2019. It reflects the three main components of WHO reform: programmes and priorities, governance and management.
Health 2020 is the health policy framework for the European region. It aims to support action across government and society to significantly improve the health and well-being of populations, reduce health inequalities, strengthen public health and ensure people-centred health systems that are universal, equitable, sustainable and of high quality.
