Release of Case studies on health system performance assessment, A long-standing development in Europe

Health system performance assessment (HSPA) is a country-specific process of evaluating and communicating the achievement of high-level health system goals. Growing interest in HSPA as a health governance tool is reflected in the increasing number of countries that assess health system performance across the WHO European Region.

This report, available in English and Russian, describes the process and key findings of HSPA in Armenia, Belgium, England, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal and Turkey and lessons learned to serve as basis for future work.
