Report on the results of a hospital safety assessment for the Kyrgyz Republic (2018)

This report presents the results of the safety assessment of 70 hospitals in the Kyrgyz Republic, selected by the Ministry of Health according to the geographic location and strategic importance in emergencies. In addition to describing the assessment process, the technical report presents the key recommendations related to structural safety of the buildings, the functioning of utilities during and after emergencies, and the effectiveness of emergency preparedness plans including staff capacity strengthening.
