Slovenia Health System Review Reports
In 2015 the Ministry of Health in Slovenia commissioned a team of international exerts from the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies to work with national experts on a comprehensive review of the health system.
The review aimed to address concerns about the financial sustainability of the system and to inform the Minister on how it was performing in other areas. Reports have been produced on:
- Health System Expenditure Review
- Evaluating Health Financing
- Making Sense of Complementary Health Insurance
- Long-term care
- Purchasing and Payment
- Optimizing Service Delivery
The reports bolster the evidence base on Slovenia’s health system, aiding the development of national reform measures to enhance sustainability, improve service delivery and promote efficiency in the health sector.
