Professor Ruta Nadišauskienė (Lithuania)
Professor Ruta Nadišauskienė graduated in 1983 with a degree in medicine followed by a doctorate in biomedical sciences in 1995. She is currently Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas and Secretary of its governing council while holding the position of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her research, which has focused on the topics of women's education and health promotion, has resulted in over 300 publications. In addition to working on a number of international collaborations, Professor Nadišauskienė is also currently serving as Vice-President of the Lithuanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, is an honorary member of the British Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and sits on the board of the European Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She was also awarded the gold medal of the Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her work.
Professor Nadišauskienė joined the EACHR in 2012.
