First meeting of the European Advisory Committee on Health Research (EACHR)

The Committee held its first formal meeting on 6–7 June 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark. In addition to setting the protocols and terms of reference for future meetings, the Committee made recommendations that the WHO Regional Office for Europe should undertake an exercise to map the health research systems and mechanisms for using research‐based evidence for policymaking in the countries of the European region.
