ISFTeH disseminates knowledge and experience related to telemedicine and e-health worldwide through publications, networking, newsletters and by providing guidance and advice on matters concerning telemedicine and e-health.

HON advocates and guides the provision of reliable and useful health information provided online. A major focus is on ethical standards for quality health information, the appropriate and efficient use of the information and to prevent misleading and misinforming citizens who search for health information online.

In efforts to support universal health coverage and the Sustainable Development Goals, the World Bank works in cooperation with governments and other partners, including WHO, to ensure quality, affordable health care for all.
