SWAP in Kyrgyzstan

WHO/Europe has been an active partner in the Kyrgyzstan health SWAP. Over the past 10 years WHO/Europe, in close collaboration with Department for International Development (DFID) has supported a health policy analysis unit. The unit has played a critical role in supporting the Ministry both in development of the national sector programme, Manas Talimii II, as well as with capacity building for policy analysis, monitoring and stronger linkage of evidence to the policy debates within the context of the sector wide approach.
