Establishing Health Policy Units

DSP provides support to the Ministries of Health in the establishment and strengthening of health policy units. Policy units facilitate the use of evidence in making informed decisions and in conducting high quality policy dialogue with key stakeholders.

Support by WHO Regional Office for Europe involves providing guidance on institutional arrangements and capacity strengthening to strengthen health analysis and evidence uptake to support policy dialogue. Policy Units are currently established in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
