17th Annual Meeting of the European Forum of National Nursing and Midwifery Associations

The 17^th Annual Meeting of the European Forum of National Nursing and Midwifery Associations and WHO will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, 8 - 9 October 2013 in conjunction with the WHO meeting of Government Chief Nursing Officers in the WHO European Region.

The business part of the meeting will include discussions of future collaboration between the WHO and EFNNMA, in line with the new partnership policy of WHO/Europe. The draft of Memorandum of Understanding and revised Operational Principles will be on the agenda of the business meeting. Technical issues, such as the regional policy framework “Health 2020” and the Strategic Directions for Strengthening Nursing and Midwifery Services towards Health 2020 will be addressed. Additionally, a compendium of good practice comprising case stories from across the Region will be discussed.
