9th Meeting of Government Chief Nurses of the WHO European Region, Copenhagen, Denmark, 2005

The 9th meeting of the Network of Government Chief Nurses in the WHO European Region took place on 5–6 December 2005 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting included presentations, reports from participants and workshop discussions. The meeting resulted in the establishment of a working group to look into the possibility of harmonizing basic nursing and midwifery education in the European Region. The role of the government chief nurse was also discussed.
