Basic nursing and midwifery education programmes in Europe

This report presents the implementation of the education principles subscribed to in the Munich Declaration. The report describes findings from a four-year longitudinal study of nursing and midwifery education programmes in Europe.

Chapters one and two of this report provide some background about the region and the study. Chapter three discusses the approach used. Chapters four to six present the data which has been analysed using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and chapter seven presents the conclusions and recommendations.
