The European Forum of National Nursing and Midwifery Associations and the World Health Organization (EFNNMA and WHO) met in Sofia, Bulgaria on 29-30 April 2010 and produced this document, which focuses on strengthening nursing and midwifery workforce in the WHO European Region.
