WHO training course

10–14 December 2012, Almaty, Kazakhstan

The objective of the course on malaria surveillance and vector control of programmes in the elimination and prevention-of-reintroduction phases was to strengthen the capacity of entomological services of countries involved in the malaria-elimination initiative; 15 specialists – nominated by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – attended the meeting.
