2009 - Counting Malaria Out

25 April 2009, marked the second annual World Malaria Day.

In order to intensify global efforts and provide impetus and increase momentum, the Roll Back Malaria Partnership proposed to kick-start a 24-month campaign that would invite partners to track global progress to meet the 2010 goal of 100% coverage and move the international community closer to near-zero deaths by 2015.
