2010 - Counting Malaria Out

Like the previous year, the World Malaria Day theme in 2010 was “Counting Malaria Out” – a reminder of Roll Back Malaria’s continued commitment to sustaining global focus on malaria. It came at a critical moment, as the international malaria community attempted to meet the 2010 target of delivering effective and affordable protection and treatment to all people at risk of malaria.

The Roll Back Malaria Partnership, which includes WHO, launched a campaign to engage partners in a comprehensive effort to quantify the progress made in the fight against malaria.
