WHO collaborating centres

The WHO collaborating centres form part of an institutional collaborative network set up by WHO to support its technical work. They provide services to WHO at the country, regional and global levels, and are involved in technical cooperation for national health development. WHO collaborating centres are required to participate in the strengthening of country resources and national health development via information sharing, service provision, research and training. The European Region is fortunate to have three collaborating centres dedicated to the prevention of alcohol-related harm.
