27th meeting of the HEPA Europe Steering Committee. Report (2017)

Executive summary

This meeting of the Steering Committee of HEPA Europe was convened to review progress with implementation of the new work programme and to update on relevant international developments. Applications for membership were also discussed. An update on the preparation of the 13th annual meeting and 8th conference in November 2017 in Zagreb were also given. The meeting was kindly hosted by the WHO Regional Office for Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was chaired by Willem van Mechelen, VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and vice-chair of HEPA Europe, and attended by 10 members of the Steering Committee and a WHO staff from the Regional Office for Europe. The meeting was kindly prepared and assisted by the Epidemiology, Biostatics and Prevention Institute (EBPI), University of Zurich, Switzerland
