In line with WHO’s European policy for health and well-being, Health 2020, which highlights the importance of intersectoral work, the WHO Regional Office for Europe, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and the ministries of health and welfare of Latvia jointly organized the Nordic–Baltic workshop on the prevention of violence against children.

The workshop aimed to bring together experts and stakeholders from key sectors, including policy-makers, professionals and activists from Nordic and Baltic countries. The goal was to promote exchange of expertise in intersectoral responses to the prevention of violence against children.

This report summarizes presentations and outputs from the workshop.
