Report of the 13th meeting of the Joint Convention/ WHO Task Force on Health Aspects of LRTAP

Bonn, Germany, 26-27 April 2010

National focal points on air quality and health and invited experts developed advice for the Convention on:

  • the health effects of particulate matter and ozone;
  • the evidence on the impact of different options for air pollution management on health;
  • progress in monitoring and modelling the health effects of air pollution;
  • an assessment of hazards associated to the proposed five new substances (as requested by the Parties to the 1998 Protocol on Persistent Organic Pollutants, namely endosulfan, trifloralin, pentachlorophonol, dicofol and hexabromocyclododecane).
