Report of the 18th meeting of the Joint Convention/WHO Task Force on Health Aspects of LRTAP

Bonn, Germany, 14-15 April 2015

National focal points on air quality and health and invited experts met to develop advice for the Convention on:

  • Review of the progress in research on health impacts of particulate matter and ozone, including new evidence on economic evaluation of health effects of air pollution;
  • Update on the revision of the EU air policy;
  • Communication and public health messages for air pollution;
  • Monitoring and modeling of air pollution and its health impacts in countries of eastern Europe, the Caucasus and central Asia;
  • Current activities and work plan of the Task Force for 2016-2017.
