Report of the 23rd meeting of the Joint Convention/WHO Task Force on Health Aspects of LRTAP

Bonn, Germany, 12-13 May 2020 (virtual meeting)

National focal points on air quality and health and invited experts met virtually to develop advice for the Convention on:

  • National and international policies and processes on air quality and health
  • Review of the progress in research on health impacts of air pollution, including emerging questions and hypothesis on the links between COVID-19 and air pollution
  • Update on ongoing developments of WHO AirQ+ software and capacity-building activities
  • Communication and public health messages on air pollution
  • Discussion of current activities and workplan of the Task Force on Health for 2020–2021
