Sharing information on good practice of chemicals management

Progress on implementation of sound chemicals management varies between countries in the WHO European Region. Responding to a request to share examples of good practice for health-sector involvement in chemicals management, a publication outlining the Slovenian experience in hazardous chemicals regulation has been prepared by Slovenian experts under the direction of WHO/Europe. The publication summarizes information on how the chemicals management system in Slovenia was built and how it works, and outlines the opportunities and limitations of the national health sector having the overall responsibility for chemicals management in the country.
