One Health response and preparedness training

Preparedness and response to zoonotic disease outbreaks requires coordination and collaboration between countries, sectors and stakeholders working in the animal-human-environment interface. WHO supports Member States to strengthen their capabilities for preparedness and response to outbreaks of zoonotic disease through improved coordination that applies the One Health approach. This includes preparedness training to improve the understanding of the perspective of the other sectors when facing a zoonotic event.
