The International Health Regulations and Performance of Veterinary Services National Bridging Workshops

WHO supports Member States in creating shared action steps that foster collaboration between their human and animal health ministries through the implementation of the International Health Regulations (IHR) Performance of Veterinary Services (PVS) National Bridging Workshops (NBW). The NBW process helps to advance sector-specific evaluation goals as detailed by the State Party Annual Report (SPAR) and Joint External Evaluation (JEE) and the OIE Performance of Veterinary Services (PVS) Pathway. By integrating sector-specific and collaborative goals, the NBW creates a road map for One Health actions and improved response to zoonotic disease threats.
