Tackling NCDs in countries

Since 2015, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation has been working jointly with WHO/Europe, WHO country offices and the health ministries of individual countries to reduce noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

These pioneering projects are employing a wide range of different interventions and ideas that are known to be effective in increasing the public’s access to efficient, good quality and equitable public health programmes and services that will reduce NCDs and their risk factors.
