LQSI mentoring training

WHO/Europe is hosting this meeting to identify mentors to support laboratories in laboratory quality improvement in eastern/south-eastern Europe and central Asia. This will be achieved using the Laboratory Quality Stepwise Implementation (LQSI) tool, which works towards accreditation of laboratories according to the ISO 15189:2012 standard. Prospective mentors will be guided in the interpretation of the LQSI tool and ISO standard, along with skills in auditing and motivation, to ensure that all mentors have the same theoretical background and use a uniform mentoring approach.
