10th Meeting of European Technical Advisory Group on Tuberculosis Control (TAG-TB)

The overall objective of TAG-TB is to provide advice to the WHO Regional Office for Europe on strategic directions and specific technical areas related to TB and drug-resistant TB prevention, control and care.

  • There are three key topics to be discussed during the meeting:
    the introduction of new anti-TB drugs and combination of anti-TB drugs into new treatment regimens; 
  • the use of information and communication technologies, such as electronic health (eHealth) and mobile health (mHealth) for monitoring treatment of TB patients and pharmacovigilance; and
  • the accumulated experience in the Region on people-centred care through reforming the financing mechanisms of TB service delivery.
