The WHO European Region celebrates European Immunization Week (EIW) every year to raise awareness of the importance of immunization in preventing diseases and protecting life. This year, on 26 April–2 May, EIW showcases the role vaccines play throughout life, with regard to many aspects of good health and well-being.
