Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

In the European Region, WHO/Europe works closely with the Global Fund Secretariat and provides technical assistance to countries under the Global Fund’s New Funding Model. This includes technical assistance to countries in the development of concept notes.

During the 65th Regional Committee in 2015, eleven countries from the Region signed an agreement with the Global Fund for the Tuberculosis Regional Eastern Europe and Central Asia Project (TB-REP) on Strengthening Health Systems for Effective TB and DR-TB Control. The project is currently being implemented by the Center for Health Policies and Studies (PAS Center) in collaboration with the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
