Multidisciplinary team approach as a model of care for HIV patients (PLHIV)

Dr Irina Eramova, WHO/Europe adviser on HIV/AIDS treatment, visited Minsk from 18-20 October 2010 to meet with national specialists on HIV/AIDS and agree on the steps needed to introduce a multidisciplinary team approach as a model of care for PLHIV in Belarus. Dr Eramova also met with representatives of the nongovernmental organization “Belarusian network of PLHIV” to understand their views on providing medical care to PLHIV.
