The WHO experts satisfied with the quality of Ukrainian GMP/GDP Center performance
On November 28-29, 2012 the Ukrainian State Training Center for Good Manufacturing/Distribution Practice of the State Administration of Ukraine on Medicinal Products (SAUMP) had been audited by WHO Collaborating Center for Drug Policy and Pharmacy Practice, Danish College of Pharmacy Practice Pharmakon in connection to the performance of GMP/GDP trainings.
The group of experts consisted of Ella Ulbak (Director, Training division) and Michael Moller (Lead Auditor). The overall conclusion of the auditors was quite positive. Results of the audit evidence the high level of development of the Ukrainian GMP standards and trainings in particular.
About State Training Center for Good Manufacturing/Distribution Practice (the “GMP/GDP Center”)
The GMP/GDP Center provides a diverse range of educational activities, which include seminars, trainings and conferences. These include trainings not only for state pharmaceutical inspectors, who perform official inspections on GMP/GDP compliance, but also for the industry and wholesaler's employee. The center works on harmonization of technical and legal instruments of Ukraine with actual versions of GMP and GDP of the European Union. Level of skills of the center’s staff allows to carry out a range of assessment and monitoring activities and to participate in GMP and GDP audits. The Center's experts are contracted by the State Administration to perform inspections of pharmaceutical companies in Ukraine and abroad on behalf of the Administration.
