Ministries of health of eastern European and central Asian countries met in Minsk, Belarus to discuss and coordinate positions of common interest in expanding access to affordable and quality assured medicines and diagnostic technologies in countries of the eastern Europe and central Asia region.
The workshop provided a platform for countries and key partners to exchange good practices, lessons learned and common challenges in transitioning to domestic financing, and to define the next steps and technical assistance requirements.
The workshop aimed at sharing knowledge and experiences in planning, forecasting demand and procuring essential medicines and medical devices.
