WHO collaborating centres

The WHO collaborating centres form part of an institutional collaborative network set up by WHO to support its technical work. They provide services to WHO at the country, regional and global levels, and are involved in technical cooperation for national health development. The European Region is fortunate to have three collaborating centres dedicated to human resources for health.
World Federation for Medical Education

WHO and the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) have formed a strategic partnership to pursue a long-term work plan. The partnership is open to participation by all medical schools and other educational providers and is intended to have a decisive impact on medical education, in particular and ultimately on health professions education in general.
