Eurasian Harm Reduction Knowledge Hub

Founded in 2004, the Harm Reduction Knowledge Hub for Europe and Central Asia (HUB) provides technical assistance for programs and services which aim to serve the health and rights needs of people who use drugs and the community they live in.  The HUB services are specifically designed for Eurasia and combine global, including World Health Organization expertise with local expertise to provide high quality, effective technical assistance.

Services include:

  • consultancy and mentoring;
  • site visits, twinning;
  • development and information materials;
  • programme development/grant writing;
  • external program evaluation.

In June 2013, the Eurasian Harm Reduction Knowledge Hub joined the WHO Collaborating Centre for Harm Reduction Public Health Institute Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University.
