Expansion and optimization of ART in Uzbekistan (2016)

This World Health Organization country mission took place from 22 to 26 November 2015. 

In response to the Ministry of Health's determination to scale-up standard Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) coverage over the coming years, the main focus of the WHO country mission was to provide input into an ART expansion and optimization plan. 

This document is therefore intended to inform a scale-up ART plan and provide recommendations for its implementation. It begins with an evaluation of Uzbekistan's clinical recommendations and service delivery across the cascade of services, according to terms of reference for the WHO mission.
