WHO will help raise public awareness about TB through various materials and events:

• a poster and press release will be developed and widely distributed;
• in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the national TB programme and Abt associates, informational leaflets will be developed for the general population and target groups on prevention and treatment;
• a television show will be broadcast highlighting ethical issues related to TB;
• together with the national TB programme and the Ministry of Health, awareness campaigns will be organized in schools in Baku and other regions;
• Abt associates will work with WHO to produce a radio message and demonstration film to be broadcast on regional television channels.
