Kazakhstan

A number of activities were carried out jointly by the WHO Country Office, Kazakhstan and the National Tuberculosis Programme  (NTP):

• short interviews for TV channels about TB;
• articles on TB in the local press; 
• online internet interview on TB for one of the local internet portal;
• participation at the daily talk shows with information on TB;
• the banner with the slogan “I can stop TB!” was posted on one of main streets of Almaty;
• a special conference dedicated to World TB Day 2012 and a round table discussion with participation of different partners, TB stakeholders at the National TB Control Centre were conducted.
