23rd meeting of the HEPA Europe Steering Committee Copenhagen, Executive summary

This meeting of the Steering Committee of HEPA Europe was convened to review progress with implementation of the 2014/2015 work programme and to update on relevant international developments. In addition, one application for membership received since the last meeting was assessed. Further input was also given to the preparations of the 11th annual meeting and 6th conference. In addition, guidance on supporting funding proposals was further discussed and next steps in implementing the funding strategies for HEPA Europe were discussed.
 
The meeting was kindly hosted by WHO Regional Office for Europe and chaired by Tommi Vasankari, UKK Institute for Health Promotion Research, Finland. Six members of the Steering Committee attended in person and 4 members via phone conference connection, as well as two WHO staff from the Regional Office for Europe. The meeting was kindly prepared and assisted by the Epidemiology, Biostatics and Prevention Institute (EBPI), University of Zurich, Switzerland.
