Transport-related health impacts and their costs, with special focus on children
A series of reports provide evidence for action to reduce the effects of transport on children’s health that are associated with air pollution, noise and physical inactivity, as well as the psychosocial impact. For these health effects, an initial economic valuation was carried out.
As a follow up, further efforts were made to develop approaches for the economic valuation of transport-related health effects, including a focus on children.
