IHR Review Committee

In accordance with Article 50 of the IHR, the Director-General may convene a Review Committee to provide technical recommendations and advice for amending the IHR, modifying or terminating Standing Recommendations, or any other matter pertaining to the functioning of the IHR.

With its members selected and appointed by the Director-General from the IHR Roster of Experts or other expert advisory panels of WHO, the Review Committee is considered an official expert committee.

Thus far, 3 IHR Review Committees have been convened.
