Extending life: Progress and achievements in 2017 of the WHO European Office for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases (2017)

The WHO European Office for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases (NCD Office) in Moscow, Russian Federation, is an integral part of the WHO Regional Office for Europe and its Division of Noncommunicable Diseases and Promoting Health through the Lifecourse.

This brochure highlights the full scope of the work of the NCD Office, which aims to strengthen health systems to facilitate noncommunicable disease (NCD) prevention and control. Funded by the Government of the Russian Federation, the NCD Office is playing an increasingly important role in supporting Member States as they make significant progress in addressing NCDs.
